Frequently Asked Questions
Is there access to office equipment for guest use? Yes. Our business centre is fully equipped with the latest technology including computers, printer and copier. There is no fee for this service. Faxes can be sent and received at no charge at the front desk at any time of day.
Do I pay for local telephone access. No. There is no charge for local or calling card phone calls.
Will my guest room have a refrigerator? Yes. All of our guest rooms are equipped with refridgerators and personal coffee /tea stations.
Is there a place where friends or collegues might gather outside of our guest rooms. Yes. Our newly designed pauza den is the ideal place to go for a quiet chat or to sit and relax with a good book. Several seating areas and central television allow for a variety of groups to enjoy the space. A small library of books is also available for guests’ convenience.
Is parking free? Yes. The guests at the Travelway Inn always park free in our spacious parking lot. Hotel guests who are visiting Science North or the Sudbury Regional Hospital/Cancer Treatment Centre, may simply leave their vehicle parked safely at the Travelway Inn and walk the few steps to their destination.
How close are local attractions? The Travelway Inn is located directly across the street from science north and the imax theatre – our guests can comfortably walk across the street to access these attractions. We are only a 4 minute drive to downtown sudbury or laurentian university.
Is there a laundry service that I can access during my stay. Yes. The Travelway Inn has a self-managed coin operated laundry facility on site. There is also same-day dry cleaning drop off and pick up available monday to friday for a fee. Ask our front office staff about this service.
Is there a restaurant on site? Yes. Curious Thymes Bistro is a full service licenced restaurant. They are open from 6:30 am for breakfast until 11 pm daily.
Is there a place where I might purchase late-night snacks or forgotten necessities. Yes. We have a 24 hour convenience shop located in our lobby area. Please be sure to ask our helpful staff if there is something that you are unable to find.
